Called my rep at SIG and his response was â change ammunitionâ. By far the best article Iâve ever read on the Sig 365. With my Glock 43 it just seems I have to concentrate much more on the sight picture and even then it sometimes isnât enough when shots go where I do not expect them to. It makes me wonder if these are anomalies or an engineering issue that needs to be addressed. I would love to own/carry this gun as I am sure it has the potential to be a better gun than the Ruger LC9s I currently carry but I have the LC9s currently “figured out” and it is being reliable now though not always (I did not like certain ammo nor the extended mag). But I’m not married to it. The malfunction that occurred was actually the next round in the magazine taking a nosedive into the magazine body. Testing was done throughout with minimal cleaning. I try to know my limitations and try to master one gun rather than switching between full size, compact etc. Installed both kits in both my sigs when replacing plastic triggers to metal triggers. Remingtonâs 783 incorporates a barrel nut for easier barrel changes. Carried a Glock for most of my career, love them, but hate their feel. This was about 200 rounds in after shooting a variety of SIG Sauer FMJ loads. One of the big difference makers with this gun is the trigger. The P365 is a winner. Also known as a âdouble-feedâ this is where the fired case fails to be fully extracted, and the slide is able to continue rearward and pick up the next round shoving it into the rear of the still-chambered empty casing. I have not owned a firearm in years and have been looking for something small and compact to carry. The Sig P365 is the BEST EDC weapon you can buy. Three new patents just based around the magazine that made the rest of the design much more easily achieved. Hence, size and weight are critical. Reduce your Sig Sauer P238 gen 2 Trigger Pull by 50% from 7lbs to 3.5lbs! I guarantee you it costs them WAY more money to go about it that way. Aw come on – the Sig P365 sights SUCK. Starting the button flush with the surface and manufacturing it to be flat would still enable positive activation when desired, but would likely eliminate the accidental dropping of the mag. Unless you’re in a closet (no lights) you can’t see the sights. Modifying your weapon may be prohibited in your state. The SIG P365 performs exceptionally well with the 365 V-Crown 115 grain loads optimized for a gun like the P365. I think you should explore the FTE issue more.
